The third workshop on integrating Robots and Sensors in future rescue INformation system (ROSIN'13) will take place on the 7th November 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight (Japan) in the framework of the 2013 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS’13).
This workshop is supported by the IEEE Robotics and Automation’s Technical Committee on Safety Security and Rescue Robotics. It will focus on the close integration of sensors, robots and information systems during the rescue process.
It is anticipated that the primary audience of the proposed workshop will be researchers and practitioners both from academia and industry with an interest in integrating robots, sensors and information systems in the context of disaster or emergency management. In addition, researchers and practitioners from relevant communities (disaster management, SDDS, GIS) are likely to find this workshop useful.
The Dr. Ir. Geert De Cubber (Royal Military Academy of Belgium) which coordinates the ICARUS project, will be part of the programme committee.
